Merry Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas everyone!! We've had a wonderful day so far! Santa was very good to Emerson! We've so enjoyed hanging out at home and just taking it easy, bliss! I made some rockin' monkey bread, I have to say it turned out perfect, usually it's hit and miss, but this year, big hit! I can't think of a better way to spend Christmas than hanging out with my family and taking it easy, so that is exactly what we did!

Worn out after her long day of playing (it was like 10:30 in the morning) she took her pants off and put them around her neck to snuggle, don't ask me why!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went over to Bryan and Lora's to open gifts and have some snacks, it was a lot of fun, Emerson loves to spend time with her cousins!

I guess it's been a while since I've updated! No huge news, or anything exciting going on, just trying to get ready for Christmas, we still have to put the tree up! I finally ordered Christmas cards, that's one thing off my list! Now to just tackle the rest! Here's a cute photo of Emerson with Santa! Doesn't everyone have a screaming photo with Santa?

Emerson was not thrilled as you can tell, we actually thought she would like Santa, because she's really into facial hair right now!

Halloween

This year for Halloween we dressed Emerson up as I guess a little fairy, her costume was too cute! She barely cooperated with wearing the little hat, but I did get a couple cute photos.

Brad took away her passy, hoping to get a couple cute photos, obviously it backfired!

She is now playing 'peek a boo' we say 'where's Emerson?' and she covers her eyes, then she pulls her hands away and of course we are so excited, we yell 'there she is', it turns into an almost never ending game. We love it!

Tate Farms!

We've made a family tradition of visiting Tate Farms every year, to get our pumpkins for Halloween, and this year was no different. I think Emerson really enjoyed herself, we enjoyed watching her, she wasn't the biggest fan of the petting zoo, at least not the bunnies, but she loved the llama. The swing was also a big hit, we've had her in the swing before and she hated it, but this time she was in heaven, we loved hearing her squeals of delight!

Grandpa Hatch visits

My dad came up to visit for a few days, and Emerson was all over him. She's been a mommy's girl for a while now, and doesn't really want to go to anyone else, not even daddy. For some reason she was all over Grandpa, it was really cute, and gave me a little break.

She's all about the cuddle right now, and I think she's starting to realize it completely melts our hearts and she can get away with just about anything, I think we need to be careful!

Another Sweet Baby Girl

We couldn't be more pleased to find out that we are having another baby girl. Our ultrasound revealed 80% likely, that baby girl Bohan #2 is on the way! How unbelievably blessed we are. I'm so happy that Emerson will have a sister, and I hope Emerson and the sweet angel yet to be named will be great friends. I know that my sister's have been my rock during some of the most trying times of my life. How wonderful to have a sister and friend in one.

The Latest Achievements

Dancing and waving, she dances to any type of music, she is our constant source of entertainment!

We were at Bridge Street listening to a performer and she was watching some girls clap and decided to join in! So cute!

Emerson's Birthday Bash

Beach Birthday

For Emerson's first birthday we decided to take a beach trip, we've lived in AL for almost 5 years and haven't gone to the beach and besides, what better excuse than a first birthday! I found a great place online, right across the street from the beach, it was so easy, if we forgot something it was a two second run back to the house, it worked out great! Emerson absolutely loved the water, she thought the waves were great, but unfortunately she was not a big fan of the sand, and you can't really get away from it at the beach!

Getting Close to Having a Walker

This video is cute, Emerson is pushing a toy along the kitchen floor, and yes this is one of her Birthday presents. In fact she's been playing with a couple presents that are still in their packages, does that make us bad parents? I mean she will officially get to open some this weekend!

I went to the Dr. this morning and here is the latest photo of the newest Bohan, getting bigger! It was great to see the little arms waving about! Everything is going along great!

The Newest Baby Bohan

Went to my first official Dr. visit this morning, got to see the little 'smudge' (that's what Dr. Petersen called it) and hear the heartbeat, it was beating at 130 beats a minute! She said everything looked great. The Dr. suggested I start taking a low dose of aspirin daily to hopefully prevent pre-eclampsia, she said it doesn't work in all people, but if there is a chance, and it won't hurt me or the baby then we should give it a try. The official due date is March 6 2010.

Announcing the newest Baby Bohan is due in March! We could not be more thrilled with the news! Emerson is going to be a big sister!

Avery and Bailey Visit

We've been so thrilled that Avery and Bailey have been able to come out for a visit this summer, hopefully we will keep them busy and entertained!  We went to Chattanooga TN over the weekend and visited the Incline Railway and the Tennessee Aquarium, and Lake Winnie.  I made the girls stop and pose for every photo op I could find, they were so good, they just took it in stride and smiled.
