Christmas!

We had the most wonderful Christmas, Carsen's first! Christmas Eve we wandered over to Bryan and Lora's and had dinner and opened some gifts. The girls loved it! Then Christmas day Mike and Nicole came over to watch the girls get all their Santa stuff and open gifts. I made some rockin' Monkey Bread, and Lora sent us home with some breakfast goodies. The girls got some great stuff and had a good time. Christmas dinner was at our house, with the very traditional holiday meal of tacos! I made a joke about having tacos for Christmas dinner one year and it stuck!

Thanksgiving

Man I completely missed posting Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving, Bryan and Lora invited us over, we had a great time. Lora worked her butt off and made a fantastic meal! I pretty much took the cooking holiday off, NICE!

Emerson's Missing Eyebrow

Brad and I noticed that something happened to Emerson's right eyebrow, It was just a little bit of fuzz, her left eyebrow is totally normal. We just looked at each other and shrugged, what happened to it? She's very good at lighting her own cigarettes so she couldn't have singed it. Last night after her bath, helping her get dressed, it hit me. I know what happened.

Carsen's First Halloween

Carsen's first Halloween was a great time, of course she could have cared less about the whole thing. Oh but she looked so cute! I originally got Carsen a ladybug costume and Emerson a duck costume. Emerson wanted none of it, she was fine with the duck until she realized Carsen had a ladybug, then she wanted nothing but the ladybug. So after many tears and fits I found a ladybug costume for Emerson, and all was well! Good thing, because this was the first year that Emerson has gone Trick-or-Treating! The first few houses she wasn't sure about, then she enjoyed knocking on the door and getting a treat!
