Alaska
The whole family made the trek to Alaska at the beginning of August. We went up to see my brother and his family. They live in a tiny little village called Unalakleet. The town is so remote you can only fly in and out or take a barge. We chose to fly. It was the first time to fly for Carsen, she did great, we were so nervous about the long travel, but both girls did so good! I think it went much better than Brad or I expected. Plus it helped that most of the flight attendants took us under their wing, so helpful, I think it's because we have super cute kids! Brent took us fishing, exploring, it was so nice to have no agenda and just hang.
My Brother's family, seriously one of the coolest families around!
Sweet little Gracie
T.J. helping Emerson, aawww, and little Faith in the background. Technically this is Norton Sound, but take a look at a map..... it's the Bering Sea!
I'm sure they are having a very intense conversation about life, or maybe they are just playing with driftwood.
Only my brother, he can get those kiddos HIGH!
He got some air on that one!
and that one!
A little bit of restraint on his part, I know he could launch this beefy little girl!
She even liked him after the air show!
That way cool Bohan family
Isn't she absolutely precious!
Sweet Aunt Rachel watched the girls so we could go fishing
Brad reeling in a big catch
Nice fish
Yes I caught some too
FYI, fish don't like to be kissed
Our awesome fishing hole
the other side of the boat
getting the boat in the water, push T.J. push
That fish is almost bigger than he is
How cute is this kid?
taking a break
getting dinner ready! Yum!
Awesome pic, one of the coolest guys I know, and look at that rainbow
on the tundra, very spongy, so awesome
Love these two
The tundra is awesome, there are wild blueberries everywhere, in fact that's why we are on the tundra, bears like to eat the blueberries, we were on the lookout for a bear..... no luck! But that's ok, I didn't really want to see one up close
could this be any more beautiful?
He is so happy here! Right at home, no one for miles and miles

San Diego
Brad and I took a trip to San Diego at the end of July. We decided to leave the babies home and just do a couple trip!! How nuts are we? VERY! Although it was very hard to leave the girls, we had a good time. Uncle Bryan and Aunt Lora kept the girls for us, they had a houseful, they had our two, her sisters two girls and then their three! They called it Cousin Camp!
At the beginning of cousin camp, everyone in a good mood
Brad and Alex. Alex was a student of Brad's at the University of KS, it was his wedding we went to.
