Carsen's First Birthday!!

How fantastic Carsen's first birthday was! We/she had a great time celebrating! We ended up changing the location of the party to Early Works Childrens Museum, which was great because there is so much for kids to do!
We are still in awe of our little angel, this last year has been a whirlwind, but we wouldn't have it any other way! It's crazy how much she has grown and changed in a year, she's amazing! She's the most precious piece of heaven that was sent our way!

First present of the day, what a way to start your morning! Thanks Hatch family, it came all the way from Alaska (well not really, Amazon.com does an amazing job)

Hello Jason Henry

Oh, wow!

Digging right in!

This was so much fun to watch, she loved it! Plus the Myers family got to join in the fun via Skype

Yes, it even got in her ear!

I seriously think my girls are some of the sweetest, cutest little people around! I can't get enough of them sometimes! Here are just some of the snapshots of our day!

Emerson giving her "baby sister" a ride in the stroller, I think it's fantastic that anything she "mothers" is her "baby sister"

Singing and playing her piano

Too bad I couldn't catch her with her head back and her eyes closed wailing away!

Hello precious!

The determination, she's after something

Christmas!

We had the most wonderful Christmas, Carsen's first! Christmas Eve we wandered over to Bryan and Lora's and had dinner and opened some gifts. The girls loved it! Then Christmas day Mike and Nicole came over to watch the girls get all their Santa stuff and open gifts. I made some rockin' Monkey Bread, and Lora sent us home with some breakfast goodies. The girls got some great stuff and had a good time. Christmas dinner was at our house, with the very traditional holiday meal of tacos! I made a joke about having tacos for Christmas dinner one year and it stuck!
